Asphalt Removal and Replacement
* With time, asphalt parking lots become littered with potholes which required the old asphalt to be removed and replaced. This method requires that the damaged asphalt areas be cut and new Type D hot mix be poured.
Asphalt Overlay
* If the potholes are minor, often a two inch layer of asphalt can be installed in the area. This method of repair is less costly than removing and replacing the asphalt.
Asphalt Seal Coating
* Seal coating gives an asphalt parking lot a fresh new look. One to two layers of tar
emulsion sealant is applied to the surface. Upon the completion of the seal coat,
the parking lot is re-striped.
Asphalt Crack Sealing
* Asphalt crack sealing is used to seal cracks in aspahlt surfaces, such as parking lots.
